HEELS Von Teese is a strictly 18 and over class. In this ALL level class we explore seductive movements to the slow beats of jazz inspired music. Dancers are encouraged to take up space on stage and learn to dance in a way that makes them feel sexy. This dance of defiance is a radial act of self acceptance. Dance heels are required for this class and can purchased through a variety of websites. These are NOT regular high heels. They have a soft suede or rubber sole and protected heel to not scar the Marley floors in our studio. If you do not wish to purchase heels, you may also join in a ballet shoe. This specific style of heel comes in many accepted variations such as Latin, character, vamp, booties, lace up, etc. Please contact us at boomdanceoregon@gmail.com if you have any questions regarding the style of shoe to purchase. HEELS Von Teese 18+ is offered once per week on WEDNESDAY, 7:00- 8:00 PM. There is no recital during summer sessions although we do offer a PREVIEW during the final week of classes. Classes are a ONE time charge and do not reoccur in July and August.
