HEELS Von Teese is a strictly 18 and over class. In this ALL level class we explore seductive movements to the slow beats of jazz inspired music. Dancers are encouraged to take up space on stage and learn to dance in a way that makes them feel sexy. This dance of defiance is a radial act of self acceptance. Dance heels are required for this class and can purchased through a variety of websites. These are NOT regular high heels. They have a soft suede or rubber sole and protected heel to not scar the Marley floors in our studio. If you do not wish to purchase heels, you may also join in a ballet shoe. This specific style of heel comes in many accepted variations such as Latin, character, vamp, booties, lace up, etc. Please contact us at boomdanceoregon@gmail.com if you have any questions regarding the style of shoe to purchase. HEELS Von Teese 18+ is offered once per week on WEDNESDAY, 7:00- 8:00 PM. SPRING 2026 runs JANUARY 5TH- MAY 2ND.. Our spring recital will be May 2nd with a rehearsal on the 1st, times to be announced. Recital and costume fees are due by February 19th. Parent Preview is the week of March 16th- 19th. Recital photo week is April 16th- 20th. We will be closed for the week of Spring Break, March 23rd- 27th. Classes are charged on a 30 day cycle, for the duration of the session (4 months).
